FLY TYING VIDEOS
In 1995 we released the first of two fly-tying videos called Mick Hall's Fly Tying Masterclass 1, closely followed by Masterclass 2.  These videos are currently being marketed by Australian Fishing Network, the parent company of Freshwater Fishing Magazine.  AFN is the leader in fishing video sales in Australia.

Both Masterclass 1 and 2 have outsold and still outsell any other fly-tying international video in the AFN library since their release.  Masterclass 1 has outsold any other international fly-tying video at AFN than all others combined over the last two years.

We've been told a number of times that many fly-fishing clubs are now using these tapes as a basis for their own fly-tying schools.

Masterclass 3, Saltwater Fly Tying Methods (as well as an International version to be marketed by Jack Dennis), has recently been released and is selling well.  Reviews of this product have yet to be published but at this early stage this video is outselling similar rivals, which is very encouraging.  Production of a CD-ROM version for the computer buff is also planned.

Fly tying is seen by many as an essential part of fly fishing.  Fly tiers can build into their flies the features which accurately reflect the local conditions.  They have the advantage of presenting a natural, appropriate and irresistible morsel to the wiley trout.

Mick explains in clear detail each step and shows the key materials and methods required for each pattern.
